Drivers
Drivers needed to assist the Operations Manager with food drive supply deliveries and food donation pick-ups during the Thanksgiving, Spring Food Drives and Christmas season. Regular scheduled pick-ups available year round.
AZ and DZ license an asset
Clean drivers abstract and police check required
Various shifts Monday – Friday
Generally between 8:30am – 12:30pm and 12:30pm – 4:30pm
Driver Assistant

Food Drive Assistant
Volunteers needed to encourage and assist individuals within organizations to conduct a food or fund drive on behalf of The Food Bank of Waterloo Region. To recruit new food or fund drives where possible. Must be able and willing to spend the majority of their time on the phone talking to a wide range of people.
Various shifts Monday – Friday
Generally between office hours of 8:30am – 4:30pm
1 - 2 shifts per week
Speaker’s Bureau
We are looking for outgoing and confident volunteers who are willing and able speak to church groups, schools, service clubs and other organizations about The Food Bank of Waterloo Region and our role in the community.
Various shifts available both during business hours and evenings and weekends
Warehouse Associates
Volunteers needed in the warehouse as team members to be responsible for a variety of tasks including shipping, receiving, inventory control, customer service, assembly, and building maintenance.
Various shifts Monday – Friday
Generally between 8:30am – 12:30pm and 12:30pm – 4:30pm
Zone Associate
The Zone Associates are team members responsible for a variety of tasks including corporate donation food sorting and repacking, inventory control, and assembly of zone orders.
