Annual General Meeting

Group at Annual General Meeting The 2008 Annual General Meeting for The Food Bank of Waterloo Region took place on September 18th, 2008. Our special guest this year was Ali Davies (Director, Loblaws Co. Ltd. National Account, Kraft Canada).

Our award recipients this year included (left to right) Larry Blundell of KW Oktoberfest (Milestone Award, Community Event), Mike Collins of CHYM FM (Outstanding Community Participation Award, CHYM Cares Campaign), Rob Campbell of Bonduelle Foods (Outstanding New Corporate Food Donor), Geof Glidden of Lester B. Pearson Public School (Outstanding Food Donor in the Schools category), Andy Szlavik, Lianne Boulanger and Kevin VanderWerf from Supplierpipeline (Outstanding Food Donor in the Business category), Julie Whyte, Conestoga College Graphic Design Student ( 2008 Set An Extra Place At Your Table campaign design) and Tasos Stathopoulos (Nelson Jarvis Award). Congratulations to all of our Award Recipients this year! The 2009 AGM will be held on September 17, 2009.
