CBC's Sounds of the Season
Tune in to CBC Radio Kitchener-Waterloo at 89.1 FM on Friday December 6th from 6am-8:30am for Sounds of the Season! From 12pm-1pm you're invited to enjoy some music outdoors at Kitchener City Hall. Non-perishable food donations will be accepted at both the studio broadcast and the outdoor concert.

Loblaws Extra Helping Food Drive
The Holiday 2013 Extra Helping Food Drive will be taking place across the country from December 6-24, 2013. This semi-annual Extra Helping Food Drive raises food and funds for the national, provincial, and local food bank programs.
Customers are invited to bring food donations to all Loblaw stores or may make cash donations at checkout. New for 2013: when customers donate $5 or more they will receive a coupon book with $5 value. These will be available at Real Canadian Superstore, valu-mart, and Wholesale Club.

20th Anniversary Wolle Christmas Classic
Royal LePage Wolle Realty invites you to share the spirit of the holidays by participating in our Christmas Food Bank Classic. This year is the 20thanniversary of the event and the Wolle team would like to make it their best year ever! Once again, this year's Christmas Food Bank Classic will collect FOOD and CASH donations for The Food Bank of Waterloo Region. In the past 19 years over 18,000 pounds of food and $66,000 in cash have been raised for The Food Bank.
On Saturday December 7th food donations will be collected in lieu of admission for a private cinematic movie screening for our clients and their families which will feature a very special visit from Santa Claus, face painters and goodie bags for the kids! The family film will be announced soon.

20th Annual Stuff A Bus
The annual Stuff A Bus Campaign is back! There will be a Grand River Transit Bus parked at the Laurentian Power Centre, Ottawa Street in Kitchener and we're asking the community to help stuff it! Volunteers will be on board the bus 24 hours a day to accept non perishable food and/or cash donations. Join Grand River Transit, KFun 99.5 FM, Kool 105.3 FM, CTV, The Food Bank of Waterloo Region and the University of Waterloo Water Boys a capella group as we kick off this awesome event on December 13th at 12 noon and enjoy some hot chocolate provided by Tim Hortons. You can visit the bus any time to drop off your donations up until Sunday December 15th at 6:00pm when we un-stuff the bus.
Most needed items are Peanut Butter, Beans in Sauce, Canned Fish, Canned Meat, Canned Fruit and Cold Cereal.
