Music and Movies In The Park 2010

The Beat Goes On will host free movie events in

Waterloo Park West under the stars on Canada's largest screen!

Admission is free with a non-perishable food donation to the Food Bank of Waterloo Region.

Arrive by 7:30pm to hear live music before the movies begin at dusk.

Thursday July 22nd: The Fantastic Mr. Fox

Thursday Aug. 12th: Diary of a Wimpy Kid

Thursday Aug. 26th: Percy Jackson & The     Olympians

July 22nd, August 12th and August 26th.

National Barbeque Day!

Meal Exchange Presents National Barbecue Day™. An awareness event to end hunger.

Canadians are invited to register their own backyard barbecue parties to bring their friends and neighbors together for a good cause and learn more about food security.  Registrants are encouraged to enjoy locally produced barbecue fare and beverages and chat about hunger issues in their communities.

Cost:

A suggested $28 donation would be appreciated. All donations raised will go directly to Meal Exchange as they support youth across Canada to take action against food insecurity in their communities.
