Tim Hortons Holiday Smile Cookie campaign kicks off in Waterloo region

Waterloo Region, Ont., November 9, 2023 – Tim Hortons and The Food Bank of Waterloo Region invite media representatives to a Holiday Smile Cookie campaign kick-off event on Monday, November 13 at the Tim Hortons restaurant located at 795 Ottawa St., S., in Kitchener.

For more than 25 years, Tim Hortons guests have come to know and love Tim Hortons annual Smile Cookie campaign. Now, to celebrate the gift of kindness and help to make a difference this holiday season, Tim Hortons is launching its first-ever national Holiday Smile Cookie campaign.

From November 13 to 19, all proceeds from each Holiday Smile Cookie sold in Kitchener-Waterloo will be donated to The Food Bank of Waterloo Region and Tim Hortons Foundation Camps.

Representatives from Tim Hortons and The Food Bank of Waterloo Region are available at the kick-off event from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. to discuss the incredible impact the Holiday Smile Cookie campaign has on the community, including those struggling with food insecurity.

About Tim Hortons Holiday Smile Cookie campaign

For more than 25 years, Tim Hortons guests have come to know and love Tim Hortons annual Smile Cookie campaign. Now, to celebrate the gift of kindness and to help make a difference this holiday season, Tim Hortons is launching its first-ever national Holiday Smile Cookie Campaign. From November 13 to 19, 100 per cent of proceeds from each Holiday Smile Cookie sold will be donated directly to local charities and community groups across Canada, including Tim Hortons Foundation Camps. The campaign was created to give guests an opportunity to give back this holiday season and help to continue making a difference in their communities. Guests can visit their local Tim Hortons starting next week and buy a Holiday Smile Cookie for $1.50 and help give back to their community this holiday season.
