On September 22, 2023, we celebrated our 10th annual Waffles in the Warehouse, raising an incredible 55,000 meals for people experiencing food insecurity in Waterloo region. Over 100 attendees came to our distribution centre to enjoy a delicious breakfast and learn more about The Food Bank of Waterloo Region and the powerful impact we have in nourishing our community.

After much thought, we have decided not to host Waffles in the Warehouse this year. Reflecting on the past decade—from the event’s success to the rise in food insecurity and the growth of our community—we realized it’s time to explore new and bigger opportunities to engage our community and generous supporters.

We’re so grateful to everyone who has attended and supported Waffles in the Warehouse over the past 10 years. Your enthusiasm and dedication have been invaluable. We look forward to connecting with you at our other events and initiatives. Watch for details about a new fundraising event in spring 2025!
