Holiday Smile Cookie campaign kicks off in Waterloo region

Waterloo Region, Ont., November 14, 2024 – Tim Hortons and The Food Bank of Waterloo Region invite media representatives to join them in celebrating the launch of this year’s Holiday Smile Cookie campaign on Monday, November 18 at the Tim Hortons restaurant at 795 Ottawa St., S., in Kitchener.
For over 25 years, Tim Hortons’ Smile Cookie campaign has been a beloved tradition. Now, for the second year in a row, Tim Hortons is starting the holiday season with kindness by selling Holiday Smile Cookies from November 18 to 24.
Throughout the week, all proceeds from each Holiday Smile Cookie sold in Kitchener-Waterloo will be donated to The Food Bank of Waterloo Region and Tim Hortons Foundation Camps, supporting those in need.
Representatives from Tim Hortons and The Food Bank of Waterloo Region will be available on November 18, from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m., to discuss how the Holiday Smile Cookie campaign helps address food insecurity and strengthen the community.
Last year, the Holiday Smile Cookie campaign raised $9.8 million for Canadian charities and community groups, including Tim Hortons Foundation Camps. The Food Bank of Waterloo Region received $64,000, the equivalent of 128,000 nutritious meals for those in need.

About Tim Hortons Holiday Smile Cookie campaign
For over 25 years, Tim Hortons’ Smile Cookie campaign has been a beloved tradition. Now, for the second year in a row, Tim Hortons is kicking off the holiday season with kindness by selling Holiday Smile Cookies from November 18 to 24. All proceeds from each Holiday Smile Cookie sold will be donated directly to local charities and community groups across Canada, including Tim Hortons Foundation Camps. The campaign was created to give guests a chance to give back during the holiday season and help make a meaningful difference in their communities. Starting next week, guests can visit their local Tim Hortons, buy a Holiday Smile Cookie for $2, and support their community.
