That experience is one of the reasons she volunteers at Kingdom Community International, overseeing the volunteers and organizing the distribution of food provided by The Food Bank of Waterloo Region.

Jess Fry spent a large part of her life on the streets, using both heroin and meth. Today, she’s the coordinator for The Waterloo Region Community Health Van, operated by Sanguen Health Centre. Struggling to find a job, Tyler found himself receiving Ontario Disability Support Program payments and not enough money in his budget to buy food.
