On November 13, Swifties from our community gathered at The Food Bank of Waterloo Region’s distribution centre for our Swifties Against Hunger event. Through ticket sales and generous non-perishable food donations, they helped raise an incredible 1,258 meals.

Canstruction Waterloo Region 2024 raised an incredible 113,284 meals for people in need in our community. MTE Consultants, a multidisciplinary engineering firm, and WalterFedy, a multidisciplinary design firm, were two of the 14 participating teams. For both businesses, the 2024 event marked their 15th year participating in Canstruction.

Empty Bowls returned on May 28 at Wilfrid Laurier University’s Lazaridis Hall and was a huge success! The 26th annual event, organized by the Robert Langen Art Gallery and Waterloo Potters’ Workshop, raised more than $39,000 for The Food Bank of Waterloo Region.
