Doors Open Waterloo Region

On Saturday, September 21, as part of Doors Open Waterloo Region, you’re invited to drop by our distribution centre between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. to tour our 31,000-square-foot facility. You’ll learn how we acquire and distribute food to our partners in the Community Food Assistance Network, who directly support more than 58,000 people in Waterloo region experiencing food insecurity. You’ll also have a chance to participate in a timed food sorting activity like our Great Food Sort Challenge and try your hand at building a structure out of unopened food cans like those seen at Canstruction each year.
