It’s Spring Food and Fund Drive time! Kitchener Fire, Waterloo Fire Rescue, Waterloo Regional Police Services and Melloul-Blamey Construction Inc. will be at local Sobeys and Freshco stores in Kitchener and Waterloo on Wednesday, April 17 from 5-7 PM.

They will be collecting non-perishable and monetary donations in support of The Food Bank of Waterloo Region ad the more than 34,000 hungry neighbours we feed each year.

The Fire and Police to Food Bank 365 program is an initiative created by Waterloo Fire Rescue Chief, Richard Hepditch, to remind people that food assistance is needed 365 days a year, just like our public safety services. Food bank donations can be made at any fire or police station in Waterloo Region any day of the year.
