Central Fresh Market Holiday Food Drive - November 15 to December 15

Central Fresh Market will be collecting non-perishable food and monetary donations November 15 -December 15 in support of The Food Bank of Waterloo Region.

Loblaws Holiday Food Drive - November 29 to December 24

Loblaw stores across the Region will be collecting non-perishable food and monetary donations November 29-December 24 in support of The Food Bank of Waterloo Region. Volunteers will be at the stores December 19-22 accepting your donations.

Location: Kitchener and Waterloo Loblaw stores (Zehrs, No Frills, Valu-Mart, Real Canadian Superstore, Wholesale Club)

Volkswagen Waterloo Food Drive - December 1 - 20

From now until December 20th, Waterloo Volkswagen is running a holiday food drive in partnership with The Food Bank of Waterloo Region.

For every 5 items or 5 dollars donated, you will receive one ballot into a raffle for two Toronto Raptors tickets, a championship hat and a Volkswagen beanie.

Cram-A-Cruiser - December 7-8

Waterloo Regional Police Service will be asking residents to Cram-A-Cruiser with non-perishable food items and collecting funds at the Real Canadian Superstore Saturday, December 7th & Sunday December 8th.

The food and fund drive will run from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. All food and funds donated will go to The Food Bank of Waterloo Region

KW Comedy Festival Preview Show - December 7

Want a little hint of what is in store for the KW Comedy Festival 2020?  Grab your tickets to the Preview Show hosted by Silly Phil and see Rob Benebek, Arthur Simeon and Nigel Grinstead take the stage on December 7.

Don’t forget your non-perishable food and cash donation.  Volunteers will be at the door accepting your donations.

A Very Leila Christmas - December 11-15

Green Light Arts present A Very Leila Christmas.  Superstar LEILA returns with her fabulous hit show, A Very Leila Christmas, about the adventures of her first Christmas in Canada. If you’ve been to a Leila show before, we assume you are part of her cult following and welcome you back with open arms! If you’ve never been to a Leila show before, prepare yourself for one of the funniest, ridiculous, fabulous theatrical experiences of your life. Come and experience the Leila phenomenon for yourself.

Non perishable food and cash donations accepted at each show for The Food Bank of Waterloo Region.

See the holiday classic “It’s A Wonderful Life” at Princess Cinema.

Admission is $10 or a non-perishable food donation to The Food Bank.

A Christmas Melody Piano Improv - December 16

Activa Music in the Lounge: A Christmas Melody Piano Improv

Christmas music has a special sound and Ian with special guest quartets from Grand Harmony Chorus will have you enjoy familiar melodies with improvisational twists.

Attendees are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item for The Food Bank of Waterloo Region.

Fill an Army Truck - December 21

The Royal Highland Fusiliers of Canada will be at local Sobeys stores for Fill an Army Truck.

They will be collecting non-perishable food items and funds for The Food Bank of Waterloo Region. Since 2012, Fill an Army Truck has raised over 130,000 meals.

Christmas Vacation at Apollo Cinema - December 23

Join Harris Law, Personal Injury Lawyers for a special screening of Christmas Vacation at Apollo Cinema on December 23.

Admission to the movie is a donation of non-perishable food items.
