How You Can Help
Volunteering & Food Engagement Program
The Food Bank of Waterloo Region has a number of volunteer opportunities available for individuals. Drivers, warehouse positions and events are just a few. Interested in our Food Engagement Program? Click here for more information.
Cash, cheque, and credit card donations can be made online, in person at The Food Bank of Waterloo Region or mailed to 50 Alpine Crt. Kitchener. Tax receipts are available for all donations.
Gift In Kind
Financial donations and sponsorships are important to offset program and operating costs but gifts of equipment, supplies, space and services are also valued. Saving operating and administration costs allows more funds to be made available for food acquisition and distribution where it is needed most.
Examples may include: office furniture, office supplies, warehouse supplies, auto repair service, event supplies.
Please contact Trish if you have something to donate!
Did you know that there are food collection bins at most local grocery stores? Food can also be dropped off at any fire hall or police station 24/7. To find out what our most needed items are click here.
Run a Food & Fund Drive
As a community-funded organization, the work done by individuals through Food & Fund Drives is imperative in ensuring we are able to reach every hungry household across Waterloo Region.
