The Food Bank of Waterloo Region is committed to providing emergency food assistance and support throughout the region, ensuring no one goes hungry. Through community and corporate partnerships, The Food Bank acquires, coordinates, and distributes fresh, frozen, and non-perishable food across the Community Food Assistance Network, a system of 120+ community programs and agency partners that provide food and support to people in need.
Non-perishable food donations
Non-perishable food items can be dropped off at any grocery store in Waterloo region. Look for the donation bin at the entrance/exit of the store.
Donations can also be dropped off to The Food Bank of Waterloo Region, 50 Alpine Court, Kitchener, using the Customer Service (yellow door) between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday to Friday.

The SOTS Donation Hotline will be staffed weekdays from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. except for December 1, 2 and 17 when the phone lines will be open:
Thursday, December 1: Here and Now – 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Friday, December 2: Metro Morning – 5:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Saturday, December 17: 10:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
