Celebrate Oktoberfest with Kitchener Council at Grillefest on Friday, October 10, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Carl Zehr Square. Councillors and city staff will serve traditional sausages on fresh buns, with cold drinks and cookies to accompany the meal—all for a minimum $5 donation. All proceeds support The Food Bank of Waterloo Region. Volunteers from The Food Bank will also be collecting non-perishable food items.
