Check out our careers page and apply online

Our application process is completed through an online system. You’ll need to provide personal information, upload a resume and cover letter (typically in Word or PDF format), and answer screening questions related to the role. If you have any questions about the application process, feel free to email us at hr@thefoodbank.ca.

Interview

If you meet the initial criteria, our People and Culture team will contact you to arrange an interview. Interviews typically include the manager and at least one other team member. Depending on the role, this may be an in-person or virtual interview, lasting between 30 minutes and one hour.

Assessment and/or second interview

After your initial interview, you may be asked to complete an assessment or assignment, and/or come in for a second interview. Not all positions require this, but some roles may.

References

If you’re selected, our People and Culture team will ask for references and/or other record checks, depending on the role.

Employment offer

Once references and/or record checks are completed satisfactorily, our People and Culture team will reach out with a formal offer of employment.
