Peanut Butter and Banana Oatmeal

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup quick oats
  • 1 cup milk or dairy-free beverage
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar (optional)
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 tablespoon peanut or nut-free butter
  • 1/2 cup diced banana
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large microwave safe bowl, combine oats, milk, brown sugar, and salt. Microwave for 1 minute, stir well, and microwave for another 45 seconds. Remove and let stand for 2-3 minutes.
  2. Stir in peanut butter and vanilla until well combined. Top with diced bananas.
